Furniture Delivery on the BEACH!

The main business for me (Mike I am the one who writes most of these stories) is to with my partner gene manage vacation rental houses. That mostly means take care of them, pay bills and rent them out. Sometimes it means carry washer and dryer across the beach to the house.

Our best vacation rental houses are located in an area called Coral Vistas in the West End of Roatan. There are five 4 bedroom homes in this development and we are managing 3 of them. the 5th and farthest away one is just now being furnished and finished up. These beautiful water front homes with pools and all the luxury you can imagine are not accessible by a roadway (imagine being the developer).

You literally carry your stuff, be it suitcases or today washwer and dryer along the beach to the development and then down a paved path to the house. It is easiy 300 yards to the last unit.

As you can see in the picture above we park at the West End Baptist Church and carry the items along the beach at Half Moon Bay. The first house is all done and our number one rental. The one these washer and dryers are going to are at the end of the point.

All I can say is I am glad I have a great and strong staff like Tyrone and Omar to get these things where they need to go. You can also see our new KIA work truck that Tyrone our maintenanice supervisor is driving these days. This little 4x4 work truck is perfect for the many odd jobs (like carrying a washer to the beach) that we encounter here on a daily basis.
