At Last Fishing

For our Christmas present to ourselves Gene and I bought some fishing gear for the boat. Last weekend I took it out for the first troll. We had no luck catching some bonita or other bait and unlike Ft. Lauderdale or the Keys where you can just buy rigged Ballyhoo that is not an option here in Roatan. So we trolled some artificial ballyhoo and got one big hit that fought us for a little while before getting away. Mario, Tony and I are all sure we will get em next time.

I think its going to be a lot of fun and I am really looking forward to more fishing in 2009. Come on down and join us.
