10 Annual Roatan Fishing Tourney

Great time this weekend as we had a our 10th annual Roatan Fishing tourney. The tournament instituted a lot of catch and release rules this year with only fish above a certain weight (225 lbs) being allowed to be taken for the biggest fish the others were all released. This is a big improvement and a great start to changing the traditional keep everything style tourney.

The "At Last" team put out some lines and we had a great time. We managed to catch quite a few tunas and some cudas but nothing to compete with the eventual winner local islander DV Woods who landed a 540 lb Blue Marlin.

A lot more boats this year including some very nice sport fish. Just another sign of Roatan coming on line as a premier Caribbean island.
