Roatan Crime Watch Program

We have a great local group called Roatan Crime Watch that has raised money and is giving our police force some badly needed tools to help them improve. Currently some of the most basic crime fighting tools (transportation and communication) are in serious need. The Roatan Crime Watch has and is raising money to purchase and then donate to the Roatan police force refurbished police cruisers and a professional secure police radio system. Currently officers often have to wait for taxis or other folks to pick them up to get to places and they use cel phones at there own cost to communicate. We have reached about 75% of our funding goal currently and that money has been stretched far to get some tools. As you can see in the pictures the refurbished cruisers look great and the communication equipment will be really helpful. The mobile office in the cars will allow officers to run id numbers and check on folks much more efficiently.
