La Ceiba Street food Breakfast

Had a great breakfast on the street in front of Econo Car rental. This was by far the best Balleada stand I have come across in Honduras with a warming rack with all kinds of meats and making the tortillas right there in front of us. I had 2 with eggs, beans, cheese and avocados. Then I added some picked peppers and onions and hot sauce to make sure. It was a great time and great way to start the day.

La Pampa Restaurant in San Pedro Sula

I had dinner at La Pampa last night in San Pedro. Great food and a lot of fun.

My friend Norman Acosta recommended it and so we went over last night to check it out. They serve mostly steaks and its an Argentine style place. La Pampa is very casual and open. We ate on a enclosed patio and had good service.

We started with an appetizer of small sizzling meat pieces that Norman said was from the neck and it was great. Then we had a mixed grill of two different cuts of steak and some chorizo. They had some grilled corn on the cob, potatoes, yuca and it was all served on these little skillet trays with hot coals under them so it made for an entertaining and delicious meal.

Check it out if your in San Pedro.

It is located at: 3calle A, entre 18 y 19 ave. N.O. #183, San Pedro Sula, Honduras, phone 553-7257. Its about 5 minutes from the Intercontinental.
