Out Island Airplane Repair

On a trip to the Pigeon Keys yesterday we saw the Bay Islands Airway plane land and cruise up to the beach with two passengers and the pilot. What a great way to see the island and to snorkel a remote spot from this float plane.

Everything was going great till one of the engines on the plane did not start. We thought we would be taking the passengers back on our boats as the pilot said he could take off with one engine but it turned out after he borrowed a few tools and our team lent some support the connection was fixed and off she went into the wild blue yonder.

Only in the Bay Islands would a day on the water turn into aircraft mechanic water.
